General Mills-owned cereal brand Chex is expanding its range of gluten-free products with the addition of five new offerings this summer.

The company said gluten-free Corn Chex, Honey Nut Chex, Chocolate Chex, Cinnamon Chex and Strawberry Chex are now being introduced, and would be widely available across the country by early summer.

The words “Gluten-Free” will appear near the ingredient panel on the side of the packs and may also appear on the front panel.

In addition, www.Chex.com/GlutenFree will be updated with a menu of gluten-free recipes made with Chex cereals.

“Innovation and strong consumer insight prompted the reformulation of gluten-free Rice Chex a year ago, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Chex marketing manager Adrienne Daniels.
