Natural and organic foods company Hain Celestial has completed its acquisition of WhiteWave Foods’ tofu and meat alternative business.

The US company announced last month that it would buy WhiteWave’s TofuTown brand, as well as a production facility based in Colorado.
The product line includes baked and grilled tofu, seitan, tempeh and other traditional tofu items.
The deal complements Hain Celestial’s existing meat alternative range, which is available throughout North America under the Yves brand.
WhiteWave is a wholly-owned subsidiary of US food giant Dean Foods.
