The Hershey Company announced yesterday (17 July) the appointment of Mark K. Pogharian to the post of director, investor relations. The appointment came into effect yesterday.

Pogharian will report directly to Hershy’s VP and business development boss Bryon Klemens.
“Mark’s leadership will enable us to build on our strong relationships with the investment community,” Klemens said. “His extensive experience in the consumer packaged goods industry as well as in equity research will be of immense value in articulating Hershey’s value-enhancing strategy to investors.”
Pogharian joins the US confectionery giant from Deutsche Bank, where he was vice president of North America equity research, covering the food industry. Previously he had held senior management positions at Kraft, Nabisco and Compagnie de Saint Gobain – Norton Industrial Ceramics.
