US confectioner Hershey has launched a ‘mini’ version of its Reese’s chocolates.

In an unusual move, the product was launched at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas yesterday (6 January).

Anna Lingeris, spokesperson for the Reese’s brand, said visitors to the show sought out new products like “mini-tuners, mini-cams, nano-mice, mini-keyboards – and gotta-have gadgets so small you could fit a fistful in your pocket”. She added: “So who says that the next, big mini innovation can’t come from a candy company?”

Reese’s Minis are available in an 8oz re-sealable, standup pouch. The chocolates retail for around US$3.39.

Reese’s Minis are also available in king size 2.5oz packed with an SRP of US$1.39. All are available at mass, grocery, drug and convenience stores nationwide.
