US meat and packaged foods group Hormel Foods has announced that Dennis Scheidt, a 37-year veteran of the company, is to retire at the end of the 2007 fiscal year.
Scheidt was most recently director of sausage and specialty products production at the company, having previously served in numerous production management roles.
“Dennis completes a stellar 37-year career with Hormel Foods, where the products under his direction have shown significant growth,” said Bruce Schweitzer, vice president of operations – refrigerated foods.
“We wish Dennis and his wife, Kathy, many years of happiness in this well-deserved retirement.”
