US snack food manufacturer The Inventure Group has expanded its portfolio of licensed brands after a deal with Bruce Foods.
The agreement will add Bruce Foods’ signature Original Louisiana Hot Sauce to a line of Hot Fries snacks under Inventure’s Poore Brothers and Bob’s Texas Style brands.
The ready-to-eat Hot Fries will hit shelves and vending machines across the US from next month with a suggested retail price between US$1.00 and $1.29 per three-ounce bag.
“When we started toying with the idea of introducing a Hot Fry product, we naturally thought of Louisiana Hot Sauce. We’re excited to partner with them and are confident the new Hot Fries will be well received by consumers,” said Steve Sklar, senior vice president of marketing for The Inventure Group.
In addition to the Hot Fries line, the Inventure Group is adding two flavours to its existing Poore Brothers kettle-chip lineup this month, including Mole – a sweet chocolate and spicy chili seasoned chip – and a revamped Habanero variety.
