Natural food products company Kashi has said that it plans to expand its line of frozen entrées with the addition of three new flavours: Pesto Pasta Primavera, Chicken Florentine and Lemongrass Chicken.
“Consumer response to the introduction of our frozen entrées has been overwhelming,” says Jeff Johnson, Kashi senior brand manager and nutritionist. “We are thrilled that our frozen entrées provide adult women and men with a quick, delicious and nutrient-packed meal option, and that we can now offer even more flavour combinations to choose from.”
Each of the new entrées are made with natural ingredients and contain no additives, preservatives or artificial ingredients.
Kashi frozen entrées contain 240-380 calories and offer five to seven grams of fibre and eight to 22 grams of protein. They also feature essential nutrients such as Vitamin C, Vitamin A and iron.
The three new varieties will be available at retailers nationwide in January 2007.
