Consumers are eating more breakfasts outside the home and there is increasing demand for more convenient products.

Bear Naked said its Morning Power Packs would be “perfect” for breakfast or snacking on the go.

“Since eating when you’re out and about is a reality for many folks, our new Morning Power Packs can easily be thrown into a gym bag, desk drawer or school lunch, making powerful nutrition portable,” Bear Naked marketing director John King said today (28 May).

Two lines have been developed – a variant called “peak”, which contains whole grain oats, cranberries and cinnamon – and fruit and nut. The products are sold in a five-count box for US$2.99 each at retailers including Wal-Mart Stores, Kroger and Target Corp.
