The MidWest-based frozen desserts and dairy products group Kemps has launched two new ice cream snacks aimed at consumers looking for healthy treats.
 
The two new products are Kemps Premium 100 Calorie Novelties and Caribou Coffee Ice Cream Nuggets.
 
Kemps Premium 100 Calorie Novelties come in four variants: Mini Cones (6 pack); Mini Vanilla Nuggets (12 pack); Mini Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches (9 pack); and Mini Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwiches (9 pack). Each has a suggested retail price of US$3.99.
 
Kemps’ Caribou Coffee Ice Cream Nuggets come individually packaged in a box of nine, and also have a suggested retail price of $3.99. Flavours include Caribou Blend and Mocha.
 
“Consumers are striving to eat as healthy as possible and are looking for products that take the guesswork out of calorie control,” said Rachel Kyllo, vice president of marketing at Kemps. “Kemps 100 Calorie Minis are perfect for on-the-go snacking without having to worry about overindulging.”
