The president and general manager of Kettle Foods North America has been appointed CEO and president of Columbus Foods.
Timothy Fallon will join Columbus on 19 July where he will lead the firm’s efforts to expand the brand’s complete line of artisanal salumi and premium deli meats nationally.
Fallon replaces Ralph Denisco, who has announced his retirement from Columbus Foods after four years as CEO. Denisco will continue to serve with Columbus Foods as vice chairman of the board of directors.
“Tim is one of the industry’s most well-respected executives, and his passion and experience make him a perfect fit to spearhead our expansion and growth,” said John Piccetti, chairman of Columbus Foods’ board of directors. “Tim was successful in converting a small company with limited distribution into a nationally recognised brand, and did so while maintaining Kettle’s close-knit family culture. We’re delighted to have such an accomplished leader succeed Ralph in this role.”
Prior to Kettle, Fallon served as CEO of Vermont Pure Holdings and has additional management experience with Cadbury Schweppes, Pepsi Cola Bottling, and Procter & Gamble.
