Kraft Foods, the world’s second-largest food company, has launched an iPad app in the US to help families expand their cooking knowledge and learn basic kitchen skills.
The app, called Big Fork Little Fork, features 300 recipes, how-to videos, educational games and interactive elements to help parents involve their children at mealtime.
It has been created with Meredith Integrated Marketing and its partner agency The Hyperfactory.
In autumn, Kraft Foods will partner with a group of celebrity chefs to develop chef-branded content packs through the app. Marcus Samuelsson, winner of Top Chef Masters, will be the first featured chef showcasing his recipes, tips and photos.
The Big Fork Little Fork iPad app is available for US1.99 through the App Store.
