US food giant Kraft Foods is making an addition to its product range with Bagel-fuls, designed for consumers on-the-go.
The bagel with Philadelphia cream cheese already spread on it was launched today (9 April) in New York with comic and “The View” co-host Joy Behar.
The bagels will be available in five varieties: a plain bagel with original, cinnamon, whole grain, strawberry or chive flavour cream cheese.
“Most people realise the importance of a good breakfast, but during hectic mornings they don’t often have time to prepare a warm, satisfying breakfast before getting out the door,” said Chitra Ebenezer, director of marketing for cheese & dairy at Kraft Foods. “Bagel-fuls offer the great taste of a bagel and cream cheese, but in a convenient form that can be enjoyed on-the-go.”
Bagel-fuls are available in 10oz packages containing four 2.5oz-filled bagels at a suggested retail price of US$2.39 and are available nationwide.
