Snack food company Lance has announced its new executive vice president and CFO as Rick Puckett.

Puckett, a 30-year veteran in corporate financial management, succeeds Clyde Preslar, who left the company in August 2005. Puckett will start on 30 January 2006.
Lance President and CEO David Singer said: “We are excited to have Rick join our senior management team. His depth of experience, knowledge of the industry and proven leadership capabilities will play an important role in defining Lance’s future.”
Prior to joining Lance, Puckett served as executive vice president and CFO for wholesale distributors United Natural Foods, in Dayville, Connecticut. He also spent five years with bottled water distribution company Suntory Water in Atlanta, Georgia, as CFO and chief information officer.
