The Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, a US division of Swiss confectioner Lindt & Sprungli, has added to its range of baking products.
Ghirardelli has added a line of wafers to a portfolio of baking items set to be sold in new re-sealable packaging.
“We know that bakers want to make a variety of treats and use more products on-the go so we’ve changed our packaging to meet this need and added delicious new products and flavors to our line of Ghirardelli baking products,” Ghirardelli senior brand manager Gabriele Saure said.
Ghirardelli has developed candy making and dipping wafers that “ensure consistent easy melting and the product does not require tempering unlike regular baking chocolate”.
The company has added a chocolate caramel SKU to its cocoa line. All three flavours in the line will be sold in the new packaging.
The new-look packaging and the brand new products are on sale at grocery stores now.
