The investment will come at the site in Greenville throughout the year, Mars said today (19 March).
Mars Foods US president Vincent Howell said the move would allow the company to increase its production capacity for its range of Uncle Ben’s products.
The expansion will double the capacity for the company’s 90-second Ready Rice product and “allow for increased innovation” across the Uncle Ben’s range.
