The seasonings and flavourings group McCormick is to offer redundancy packages to an undisclosed number of its 175 HQ staff.
The voluntary redundancies form part of a continuing restructuring programme at the company, which aims to cut its global workforce by up to 1,000, Dow Jones reported.

Robert J. Lawless, McCormick’s chairman, president and chief executive, has declined to say how many employees would be offered the packages. The programme is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter.
The company, which employs 8,000 people worldwide, said some sales and technical jobs would also be cut at its Hunt Valley plant with the installation of a new computer system.
