US spice maker McCormick has launched a voluntary recall of its fajita seasoning mixes.

The company said that the seasonings contain wheat and milk ingredients not listed on the packaging.

The 1.12-ounce packages were distributed to grocery stores nationally from 15 February.

The affected products have UPC Code 5210002121 and “best by” dates of 16 January, 2012.

People with allergies  to wheat or milk may have allergic reactions if they consume the seasoning, the company warned. However, the Sparks-based spice group said no illnesses have been reported.
