The changes are being made to accommodate the growth of the company fuelled by the acquisitions of cooking wine brand Holland House and the speciality and food division of Imperial Brands, Mizkan said.


Dennis Dedmond is promoted from vice president of marketing/foodservice to senior vice president of marketing & brand management.


Mike Smith is promoted from vice president of retail sales to senior vice president of sales.


Mark Majewski is promoted from vice president & chief financial officer to senior vice president & chief financial officer.

Dedmond will retain his responsibilities for Japanese branded sales and assume responsibility for all brand management and branded product P&L results, as well as assuming responsibility for Mizkan’s long-term strategic planning.


Smith will assume ultimate responsibility for foodservice sales, and Majewski has assumed primary responsibility for acquisition transition.


Mizkan Americas, formerly Nakano Foods, is a leading manufacturer of condiments in the US with 11 manufacturing plants that serve the retail foodservice, speciality, Asian and industrial trade channels.
