MOM Brands has expanded its Better Oats range with the launch of three steel cut instant oatmeal varieties under the brand’s Oat Revolution line.
The company said the new products were among the “fastest cooking” steel cut oat products on the market, with a cooking time of two-and-a-half minutes. The whole grain product includes flaxseed and is a food source of fibre and ALA omega-3, MOM said.
“This innovative new oatmeal is great for busy people who want the taste and texture of slow-cook steel cut oatmeal, as well as the speed of cooking by microwave,” an MOM Brands spokesperson said.
Oatmeal varieties include: maple and brown sugar, apple and cinnamon and classic.
The products are available in Kroger and Safeway Inc, with a broader rollout planned for the coming months.
