Kraft Food Global Brands, the US snack subsidiary of Mondelez International, has filed a lawsuit alleging that Kellogg has infringed a patent protecting packaging used in its resealable cookies.

The suit, filed yesterday (16 January) with the Illinois district court, alleges that Kellogg broke a 2003 patent for Kraft Food Global Brand’s “Resealable Food Container”, commonly known as “Snack n Seal” technology.
