Newman’s Own, founded by Paul Newman and AE Hotchner, has expanded the distribution of its frozen pizza line with the addition of a Margherita flavour.
The expansion reflects a strong performance since Newman’s first launched its Thin & Crispy frozen pizza into five test markets less than a year ago, the company said today (27 August).
The pizzas will now be available to 30% of the US from this month.
“We’re thrilled that our consumers have responded so positively to our Thin & Crispy crust frozen pizzas. Our new pizzas live up to the high expectations that consumers have for Newman’s Own products,” said Mike Havard, vice president, marketing at Newman’s Own.
The five varieties of Newman’s Own Thin & Crispy frozen pizzas now include: Margherita; Supreme; Four Cheese; Roasted Garlic and Chicken; and Uncured Pepperoni.
