US chicken producer Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. today (2 March) announced the appointment of Jerry Wilson as executive vice president of sales and marketing.

The appointment is subject to approval of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. However, Wilson will join the company immediately on an interim basis.


Wilson previously served nine years as vice president of sales and marketing for Keystone Farms, a privately-owned poultry producer. Prior to that, he spent seven years as vice president of sales and marketing with poultry group Seaboard Farms. Wilson has also held operations, quality assurance and management positions with Simmons Foods and Sanderson Farms.
