The boss of US cereal manufacturer Post Foods has quit the role to pursue other career opportunities.
Ralcorp Holdings, the US private-label food group that owns Post, said last night (9 November) that Stephen Van Tassel had resigned as president of Post Foods to “pursue other career interests”.
Ralcorp president and co-CEO David Skarie will fill in on an interim basis, the company said.
“Steve has played a significant role in the integration of Post Foods and the achievement of our year one EBITDA targets. We wish him well in his future pursuits,” Skarie said.
Ralcorp bought Post from Kraft Foods in 2007.
