Ralcorp Holdings has completed the purchase of Cottage Bakery, a manufacturer of frozen par-baked breads and frozen dough sold in the retail and foodservice channels.

Announcing the acquisition, Ralcorp said that Cottage Bakery’s management team will continue operations at its manufacturing facility in California, where it employs 690 people
Kevin J. Hunt, co-chief executive officer and president of Ralcorp said: “We welcome the Cottage Bakery management team and employees to the Ralcorp family. Cottage will become a key part of Ralcorp’s Frozen Bakery Products segment and will enhance Ralcorp’s existing frozen bakery product offerings.”
