Sara Lee’s board of directors declared a regular quarterly dividend of US$.1975 per share on the company’s common stock, payable on 7 April 2006. The dividend is payable to stockholders of record at the close of business on 1 March 2006.


Based on yesterday’s closing price of $18.37 per share of Sara Lee common stock, the dividend announced today provides an annualized yield of 4.3% to the company’s shareholders.
