In a statement yesterday (21 December) the company said it was taking the voluntary step due to low trading volumes on those exchanges.


Pending completion of the delisting process of each exchange, the company expects to complete the delistings for the Euronext exchanges on 31 January 2006, and the Swiss Exchange on 21 March, 2006. Sara Lee shares will remain listed on the Chicago, London, New York and Pacific stock exchanges.
