
JM Smucker has launched a line of on-the-go fruit snacks in the US in a bid to target consumers interested in buying healthier but more convenient products.
The company has developed Fruit-Fulls Pure Blended Fruit, which will compete against products including GoGo Squeez, owned by French firm Groupe MOM.

Fruit-Fulls come in four flavours and can be eaten cold or at room temperature, Smucker said.
The snacks of a suggested retail price of $0.99 for individual item, $4.49 for a four-pack and $7.99 for an eight-pack.
Smucker, famed for products including peanut butter and jam, will face an expanding Groupe MOM in the US. In April, the French group said it was investing over EUR60m (US$81.9m) in the construction of a second production plant in the US following strong growth of its GoGo Squeez snacks.
