US gum and confectionery group Wrigley Company is launching a host of new product variants and special packs for the summer market.

In its gum range, Wrigley is adding new flavours and a major packaging innovation. The Big Eclipse Big-E-Pak contains 60 pellets of gum. The durable new pack comes in Spearmint and Winterfrost flavours.
 
The company will add two new flavours, Lemon-Lime and Crystal Mint, to the Orbit range, while the “Outrageous Original” flavour will be added to the Hubba Bubba Max range. The Altoids strong gum range is to be extended with the launch of Spearmint and Wintergreen flavours.


A number of new confectionery lines are also being launched in the summer, including Life Savers Orange Mints and Sweet Mints, the first new additions to the Life Savers mint range for more than ten years. Life Savers Gummies are also to be marketed in new “Theatre Boxes”.


Also among the new confectionery offerings are Life Savers Gummies Fruit Splosions, fruit-flavoured gummies with a fruit juice centre. Fruit Splosions come in three different varieties, Traditional 5 Flavour, Sour Cherry and a Variety Pack containing Strawberry, Blackberry, Orange and Watermelon flavours.
 
The company is also launching new liquid filled mints with a crunchy mint shell called Winterfresh Winterbursts, as well as Creme Savers Desserts in Cinnamon Bun, Apple Pie A La Mode and Strawberry Cheesecake flavours.


Meanwhile, new to the Wrigley mint range are Altoids Smalls in Wintergreen flavour and Eclipse mints in Spearmint flavour.
