The private investment group Sun Capital Partners has announced that one of its affiliates, Sun Capital Securities Fund (SCSF), has made an investment in Dale and Thomas Popcorn, the New Jersey-based popcorn producer.

Sun Capital said that SCSF focuses on investing in non-control public and private equities, direct mezzanine investments, existing bank debt, and special situations.
