US retailer The Pantry has named its new chief financial officer.

The company has appointed Frank Paci to the role, it said on Friday (15 June).

Paci, 49, joins The Pantry from Blockbuster, where he was executive vice president and looked finance, strategic planning and business development. He will take up the role on 2 July, replacing Daniel Kelly, who will retire in November.

Paci has also held roles at Yum! Brands, owner of Pizza Hut, Burger King Corp. and Pillsbury Co.

The Pantry chairman and CEO Peter Sodini said: “Paci has spent virtually all of his career in the specialty retailing and quick service restaurant industries, both of which are highly relevant to the convenience store business.”
