Baseball card company Topps and Hershey Company are ending an eight-year manufacturing agreement to make the Bazooka bubble gum brand.

Hershey has been the exclusive supplier of Bazooka in the US since March 1998, but Topps will now shift supplier, following a termination letter posted in the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings by Topps CFO Catherine Jessup.

The termination is pending payment from Topps to Hershey for production quantities in 2005 and 2006.

According to the SEC filing, Topps has already arranged for an unnamed supplier to manufacture Bazooka for sale and distribution in the US.
