According to a report by Anchorage Daily News, Trident is one of the largest seafood processors in the North Pacific while Ocian Beauty is one of the largest salmon producers in Washington.


Trident said it will acquire Ocean Beauty’s processing facilities an the companies will enter into joint smoked fish and seafood distribution joint ventures.


This is the latest in a string of Trident acquisitions, including ConAgra’s seafood division and NorQuest Seafoods.
