ADM said the move would allow it to supply “tailor-made organic chocolate to the UK market”.
ADM Cocoa UK’s commercial director Jeroen van Engen said: “We are well-placed to offer manufacturers the finest chocolate ingredients and technical support they require to develop differentiated, premium products.”
Organic cocoa beans are processed at an ADM Cocoa site in Hull and then transported to a company site in Liverpool, where the chocolate is manufactured.
