Kellogg has revealed plans to revamp its cereal snacks brand Nutri-Grain next year.

The company said Soft & Fruity, Elevenses Bakes, formerly Soft Bakes and Crunchy bars will be relaunched in January. As part of the overhaul, the Crunchy bars will be available in two varieties including oats & honey and chocolate chip.

The company has also revealed new packaging and a GBP3m (US$4.7m) marketing campaign.

In addition, Kellogg is set to enter into the breakfast biscuit market under its All Bran brand next year.

When talking to just-food, a spokesperson for the company said consumers may eat Kellogg bars for breakfast but they are not “specifically designed for breakfast”.

Ian Mackenzie, UK snacks marketing controller at Kellogg said: “Both the relaunch of Nutri-Grain and stepping into the growing breakfast biscuit segments are incredibly exciting growth opportunities for us.”
