The recall has been extended to include 4.3oz. (121 g) pouches marked with “UPC # 4100002246” on the bottom right-hand side of the back of the pouch.
The recall was initiated after the company received a consumer complaint. The company said that people with a sensitivity or allergy to milk run the risk of serious allergic reactions if they consumed the product.
Knorr Lipton Pasta Sides were distributed nationwide in the US through retail stores, club stores and dollar stores.
One confirmed adverse reaction has been reported to date.
