Unilever and Starbucks have launched a line of “super-premium” ice creams based on the coffee chain’s drinks.

The range comprises four lines and includes Caramel Macchiato and Java Chip Frappuccino.

“Our new ice cream line is an artful adaptation of some of our most popular hand-crafted beverages,” said Mary Theisen, director, business development, for Starbucks Global Consumer Products.

The launch is the first new line of products from the two companies after they signed a deal to produce and sell Starbucks ice cream in the US and Canada last September.
