Vantage Foods is recalling around 1,642lb of ground beef products as a result of possible contamination.

A consumer found pieces of blue plastic in the ground beef, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said on Friday (19 August). The consumer returned the product to their retailer, which in turn notified Vantage Foods.
