US frozen foods manufacturer Windsor Foods has announced the closure of its plant in Tulsa, a move which sees 70 jobs axed.
In a letter filed with the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, obtained by just-food, Windsor said it would shut the facility in September. All contracts would be terminated by the end of September.

According to a statement issued to Tulsa World, the closure is part of a strategic initiative to build on the firm’s “competitiveness and market leadership”.
Windsor Foods did not respond to just-food’s request for comment.
