US agribusiness giant Archer Daniels Midland has said it has entered into a contract to acquire Gold River Mills, LLC's rice mill facility in Arbuckle, California.
US agribusiness giant Archer Daniels Midland has said it has entered into a contract to acquire Gold River Mills, LLC’s rice mill facility in Arbuckle, California.
The rice mill is expected to be operational on 1 August 2004. ADM said the new operations will be integrated into ADM’s global grain and transportation system to serve California rice growers as well as domestic and international customers.
The new operations will be managed by ADM Rice, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Archer Daniels Midland.
