US supermarket operator The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company has announced that it has completed two separate and previously announced transactions for the sale of eight A&P stores in northern New England to GU Family Markets and seven Kohl’s Supermarkets in Madison, Wisconsin to The Copps Corporation, a subsidiary of US grocery distributor and retailer Roundy’s.
