US supermarket operator The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P) has announced an agreement to sell eight stores in northern New England to GU Family Markets.
A&P said that when completed, the transaction would conclude A&P’s previously announced divestiture of operations in that area.
The retailer said that deal is subject to customary conditions and reviews.
