This newly formed alliance between the two companies will help meet the immediate demand for Barrington’s products on an international level, “as well as the current domestic level. Under current agreements, West Coast Ingredients will be responsible for both blending and packaging Barrington’s proprietary products,” according to a report by Food Ingredients Online.
West Coast Ingredients provides a variety of services for the dry food industry and is an FDA Kosher and originally certified custom blending, instantising and packaging operation. The report notes that products produced by West Coast Ingredients include nutritional, sports, diet and protein drinks with custom formulating blends. West Coast Ingredients operates from a 110,000 square foot facility in Modesto, California where their automated packaging equipment is filling plastic bottles, pouches, cans, multi-wall bags, super sacks and corrugated boxes and drums.
