The company incurred a net loss of $650,000 in the second quarter of 2005 versus a loss of $209,000 in the same quarter of 2004.

Sales for the first half (24 weeks) of the 2005 fiscal year were $61,3m, a 6.9% decrease compared to the same period in 2004. The company incurred a net loss of $846,000 in the first half of 2005 compared to a net loss of $346,000 in the first half of last year. The gross margin decreased slightly on a comparative basis due primarily to higher commodity costs and lower facility utilization.
