BrightStar Information Technology Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: BTSR – news), a leading e-business solutions company and member of the PeopleSoft Global Alliance, today announced that it has been selected by Whole Foods Market (Nasdaq: WFMI – news) to implement PeopleSoft’s enterprise business process solution for human resources management.

Whole Foods has selected BrightStar to implement the PeopleSoft 7.5.1 Human Resources Solution with the following modules: Human Resources, Benefits Administration and Payroll. The project is unique in its approach to the implementation process. In a standard implementation, BrightStar would provide both the technical experience and the professional project management necessary to keep the project within customer expectations. However, this project has been split with Whole Foods where BrightStar is providing expertise to develop the project plan, facilitate the design sessions and provide technical assistance, with the management of the project and development work to be handled by Whole Foods internal resources. The expected result is a Human Resources solution that specifically meets the needs of each functional area within the company.
