“Following five consecutive quarters of positive same- store sales growth at Carl’s Jr. and 13 consecutive quarters of positive same- store sales growth at La Salsa, it is clear to us that these brands remain strong.


“On the heels of four consecutive quarters of positive same-store sales growth,” added Puzder, “Hardee’s results for the period reflects an improvement since we first began our efforts to re-focus employees’ attention on quality, service and cleanliness, to remodel stores, and to overhaul the menu.”
