George Miller (California), Chris Smith (New Jersey) and Bill Delahunt (Massachusetts) revealed that according to a recent poll conducted among US consumers, 83% of the public is opposed to whaling. A further 72% pledged to support a boycott of goods manufactured by Norwegian and Japanese companies that are involved in whaling or the trading of whale products.
