Soy products manufacturer White Wave has announced that it has signed a deal to become the sole provider of soymilk to US coffee giant Starbucks Coffee.

Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.


Boulder, Colorado-based White Wave has developed a formula of Silk soymilk for use in prepared drinks. Starbucks also agreed to sell cartons of Silk, reported the Associated Press.


White Wave, which employs 200 people in Boulder, became a wholly-owned subsidiary of US food company Dean Foods in May 2002.
