Dr Farewell will report to Richard J Dahl, president and chief operating officer of Dole. His responsibilities will include working with the company’s divisional research organizations to continue Dole’s history of research innovations and agricultural practices that enabled Dole to bring the highest quality products to the marketplace.


Most recently Dr Farewell was president and CEO of the Oceanic Institute in Hawaii.
