Domino’s Pizza, the world leader in pizza delivery, has announced that it will acquire 82 franchised stores in the Phoenix, Arizona, market, making it the largest store acquisition in the company’s history.
The stores will be bought from franchise Sierra-Sonora Enterprises.
David A. Brandon, chairman and CEO of Domino’s Pizza LLC, commented: “Phoenix is a great market for us, filled with many loyal Domino’s Pizza customers and team members.
“The Greater Phoenix area, which already ranks as one of the top ten markets in the country, is also one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the nation. We’re delighted at the opportunity to grow along with the community.”
When the transaction closes on or about 25 February, Domino’s Pizza will own and operate a total of 602 outlets. Founded in 1960, the company operates a network of 7,112 Company-owned and franchised stores in more than 60 markets around the world.
