SCT (Nasdaq: SCTC – news) announced today that FIS – North America, Inc. licensed SCT’s iProcess.sct e-business solution suite. FIS is a leading manufacturer and marketer of flavorings for major food manufacturers, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nestle S.A. The agreement is an enterprise license for use throughout their North American facilities, recognized in SCT’s third fiscal quarter which ended June 30, 2000.

Over the years, FIS has seen an increase in their customers’ demands for specialized products reflecting diverse regional and global tastes. Culture and cuisine are constantly evolving, posing a challenge to keep up with emerging flavor trends throughout the world. In order to keep pace with an ever-evolving, global industry, FIS needed an integrated supply chain solution that would not only be flexible and quick to implement, but also able to handle their unique food industry requirements.
